It is. My stepladder just allows me to reach/touch those beams, but I'm wussing out & collaring a sparky. Wanting to get the rats nest of wiring for the upstairs lights simplified, so I ordered that fitting to coincide. Just need to find a sparky brave/stupid enough now.

Today the replacement arrived, with the same Courier as the original, from Zoro....in absolutely pristine condition. Shows these couriers can do it if they concentrate.

Prepare to be disappointed if you are used to a good saw!

We bought one for the mens shed after reading all the good reviews. It was used a few dozen times, set in a corner and we then went & bought an old startrite cast iron table saw.

Basically the evolution is so flimsy it's impossible to cut anything accurately. Maybe ok for very light material but if you try to rip anything heavy you can actually see the thin blade bending. A thicker blade might help things but the motor might not be powerful enough to drive it. The fence is also flimsy & will bow out unless you clamp something behind it for support. As poor as my £99 Lidl table saw is it is better than this effort costing 3x more!

Adjusted the fence 1mm.
Fitted an 80 tooth blade and ran sweet as a nut all day. No movement in the fence.

Can't fault it.

The workshop pixies fitted the overhead hoist today. I can now pickup 200kg and move it anywhere in the workshop within 300mm of the walls
waiting on the correct size battarea to arrive.

To say Im a happy bunny is an understatement

John Stevenson designed those Brad and if you look closely there is a ring at the bottom of the hole in them so you can make a washer and bolt them vertically to the mill table. I have both ER25 and ER40 and use them all the time, in fact the four sided one lives most of it's life in the four jaw chuck, saves me swapping chucks. Very useful tooling.

A few years ago I was in need of a table saw and as a cheaper option, grabbed the Evolution Rage5-S. I used it with the collapsible stand for a while then built it into a mobile bench so I could add a larger surface either side of the saw platform. I also bought a few Freud blades as they are my preferred blade. I have hammered this saw by putting all sorts of wood through it from rough timber to different hardwoods and the saw has never failed, the fence has been solid, and it's cut perfectly.

The only thing I don’t like about the inserts are they don’t have anything stamped or etched on them.

I acquired this little lot today. More importantly, the bonus for me is the extra arms. The spot welder will be a back up just in case.

It can join this one I bought last month.

I don’t think either have seen a lot of work.
