Needed some tiedown's for inside my van. Ebay has sets of six VW T5 floor tiedown rings for £75.oo
Found a general listing for Audew V-Rings tiedown load anchor, 1000 lb. rated; a pack of ten for £9.99 and free postage.

Ebay item # 2937 7071 6684 They are " Audew V Rings ". Have a look, as there are several suppliers on ebay, and the tiedowns come in either 5 or 10 per pack.
I checked the ones I received, and the triangular rings are welded, not just bent in a loop; and the hole in the swiveling mounting tab is drilled for 10mm bolts.

Today I acquired a little gem. Got to thank @awemawson who posted a photo of an old Bantam on the "When I were a Lad" thread. It caught my attention and fired up my interest to get another bike again.
Took the bike for a shakedown run, and noticed it doesn't quite have the horsepower range of my old Harley , but then I'm not planning any long haul rides. I think it will be just fine for those leisurely trips down our back country roads. The front wheel rack worked out ok too.

Soft option is good at my age, my hardtail Sportster was the bone shaker, lol. This Bantam will be my first BSA. Back in the late 1970's a buddy built a gorgeous rigid chopper with a 650 BSA engine that gave him many headaches. He often claimed BSA stood for " Bazturd Stopped Again ".

Nice resto. Not that I particularly like Bantams, but they were easy to work on. Lost count of the number of engine rebuilds I've done (including the crank).

A new aerial and the fittings for getting the cb sorted in the wagon. I can't wait to take the cupboards to pieces so I can access the hole that Scania thoughtfully put in the roof. From past experience it will be 2 hours of my life that I'll never get back that will be filled with the vilest language known to mankind, and due to putting them in nasty tight spaces and trying to tighten nuts and fittings, my arms will look like either I'm shooting up God knows what or I'm seriously into self harm .

Firm I worked for banned drivers fitting their own CB, we found it was cheaper for us to pay our service garage to do it than pay to rectify the electrical faults caused by driver installed ones

Last month I acquired... a speeding ticket, and another for driving outside of my hours, which I got compliance on if I took my full test.

Well, I took my test this morning and passed. Twenty minutes of driving and he said it’s a clear pass, I didn’t need to see any more. Fab! Proper happy
