Couldn't pass up buying a couple of 12 packs of Amtech hacksaw blades. I've got plenty of quality Lenox blades, but for £1.39 a dozen, worth having, especially for the times when a neighbour asks to borrow a hacksaw.

I have to agree, I've tried a few over the years and always return to Eclipse or similar, They just don't cut the mustard

We had one land on our aviary a couple weeks ago. It sat there for a while trying to find a way of getting the finches then flew off.

We had 3 of our friends kids over and they all came screaming down the stairs saying there was a bat in the bedroom. we thought they were on a wind up but there really was a bat in the bedroom!
It was about 7" across the wing tips!
I finally caught it and put him out the window.

There were atleast 30 sparrows in our hedge, and a robin. Plus a few tits on the other side, tho much less there were a lot more. We give them plenty of food.

Found a dead sparrow yesterday Maybe the sparrowhawk got it in flight, not sure if its beak was smashed, possibly a window hit, but no other visible damage.

The chainsaw needs work
The welder works
I don't know if restore the welder or completely modify it ,it has only 130A and it needs a cooling fan (it born without )
The previous owner tried to put a fan as you can see he cut open the rear panel to put a PC fan .
The ground clamp is heavier than the welder
I don't know I was thinking to build a carbon arc torch and use it for that .
It's too little to rectify and make a small arc air rig (3.2mm carbon rods needs only 90A )
It might work

My mother usually see my welding equipment and she thought that there were only mirror polished brass ground clamps .
She asked me if was dirt or if came out of a sewer ....
Real words "I don't want s@#* in my house"
I'll put it on a Facebook welding group to remember that it's important to not strike arcs onto a ground clamp

Second that on the jonsered, parts were readily available over here for one I was given, runs like a dream.

This one probably needs a top end ,I will sand the cylinder walls with 400 grit sandpaper to remove the scratches but keeping the enough scratched to retain oil
