Brand spanking new, fantastic deal from @Tom Orrow L, a few extras chucked in for good measure too.
Parweld XTM211Di Multi Process Welder.
MIG, AC TIG, DC TIG & MMA in one unit, at half the price of the ESAB offering. It was this that pushed me to dropping brand loyalty, and the good things I’ve heard about the Parweld kit.
Came as standard with a Digital MIG torch, Digital TIG Torch and Gas Regulator. I added a foot pedal to the deal just because I could.
Sold the ESAB as we closed the deal on this too, so effectively only cost me £900, in fact thinking about it, I managed to sell quite a bit recently so it’s probably only cost me a couple of hundred and streamlined the workshop too!
Might look at a couple of the GYS units and treat the lads on the farm too..
Just shy of £2k with what’s pictured.I had heard about this all in one machine from parweld.
Does look epic.
Just awaiting to see what the retail and then realistic prices are.
Today I "re-acquired" some gear after digging through my storage unit. With other members recently talking about a mutual hobby, I thought I'd better check on some equipment that I have not used in awhile. Tanks need a Hydro test as its been longer than I thought since my last dive. Too hot to sort through things today, but its fun to open cases with things you've forgot about; Everything has been kept in a cool dry building, so hopefully nothing has deteriorated. Wish me luck.

45 cu ft ally's with j valves. I've been diving for over 20 years now and have never seen a j valve in the flesh.
You and @Cobbler should get together at some stage. With your tanks and his Poseidon "DV", and doubtless one of you has a "stab jacket", I reckon the Historical Diving Society would welcome you with open arms
.
Congratulations, high praise indeed! After almost 30 years of being involved in my trade, I've been awarded Chartered Fellowship of my learned society in recognition of the contribution I have made to worker health protection

60's wearing a vulcanized rubber drysuit that had no means of equalizing
, and no tank contents gauge, so when it got hard to breathe, you only had a few minutes of air left and it was time to head north...
Congratulations mate, you deserve itAfter almost 30 years of being involved in my trade, I've been awarded Chartered Fellowship of my learned society in recognition of the contribution I have made to worker health protection

4string, ..... nothing as modern as a stab jacket, an ABLJ please. I had an old military twin set for a while, the valves were like bath taps, it was designed to be used in poor vis, upside down with no contents gauge. Breath off One tank til empty, open the other & equalise between the two & close, breath until empty, then use the remaining air in the second as reserve to surface. I never used it that way, I turned them the right way up as normal.
I also had a 60 with a J valve reserve, I tended to leave it open & use the gauge. My Poseidon Cyclon DV was the one of the best in its time, could be used on 300 bar, not many could in those days. There were a few “TAD”s around in the early days, ever come across them?
Well done Parm..i know how serious you take your role so all the hard graft seems to have been noted mateAfter almost 30 years of being involved in my trade, I've been awarded Chartered Fellowship of my learned society in recognition of the contribution I have made to worker health protection
