Mid week a nice Borman precision chuck from fleabay and the arbor kindly donated from Doubleboost

And last night I picked up this


a 1971 ingersol rand 62 ltr it starts and runs up to 150 psi no bother and cuts back in about 90 psi
needs a few bits sorting including the silly 1/4" bsp regulator fitted but overall all happy days.
Can't wait to have it all sorted. Lots of questions coming in the compresser section.

When I made the base it was much darker, It seems to have lightened up!, I have some nice bits of walnut and couple of chunks of Amboiner burr that I may make a new one of!

would look nice on a piece of walnut . And there is something very tactile about and if I recall correctly they were cast in two slightly different sizes dependent on model.

This excellent Britool tin, it has a lift out tray with space underneath and a carry handle. It’s crackle finish, the good stuff.

You're not wrong. I fired it up and tried a test shot. This is the result (reduced to 800 x 600 pixels).



Very pleased with the result as it was just a quick 'point and shoot' - 100% better than most of my previous efforts with the old camera.

Legend on the mug reads 'Grumpy Old Man' - I think the wife was trying to tell me something when she bought it for me.

Aspire Triton on an Eleaf 80w battery. The tank takes 3ml of liquid. With the smaller tanks that are now all that's allowed by the regulations, I'd be filling up 3 or 4 times a day.

went to the car boot this morning ,first time in over a year (with mask obviously ) only went to see if I could find some imperial spanners for the new compressor .Ended with a few goodies.
a few old spanners two sets of pliers a small lump of brass and a 16amp plug and pair of castors for the welding trolley ( that I havn't made yet ) and

Shrink wrap 2 x HD 13amp plugs an mt2 drill ,insulation tape three wire brushes for the dremel
5x imperial Gedore sockets and a set of Eklind ( U.S.A ) imperial ballend allen keys which I managed to bash down to a fiver all less than £14 a happy 45 minutes me thinks.

They do them but I've never seen one in store. Try and order before they give up and keep a steady supply
