I asked my mate who is clearing out his workshop, retiring, if he had a puller I could borrow, he said he had just skipped a load, so I went skip diving, pulled out a couple of sets of coffin straps as well, essential travel, I also picked up a large die holder from a forum members front wall, another essential trip,

who would skip those pullers? lockdown must be getting to him!

the puller bottom right is the one I needed, I have a Chinese version but it is rubbish!

I have a similar set, over the years I have seen odd bits of pullers at Autojumbles and car boots, so I started buying them I now hav e full set similar to yours but no back board

Well actually, not me, my missus. She got a new cordless trimmer with all the accessories.

No way am I showing mine! The Westie just didn't move, he only moves, like lightning, if I go near his mummy. When she is out, he is my bestest friend, turncoat! Oh, and if you are feeling bored you are welcome to come 'round mine and trim the big fellas maracas. I will watch.

My mother in law used to have a hairdressers so as luck would have it she is really competent (she used to be press ganged into helping), with the scissors though. She has confessed that she would have made quite a scene with the trimmers!

installed today behind the press, will take a look at the hydraulic rams when I get a moment, I assume they are grease filled? I found a good one in my tool box bottom drawer, I posted a wanted ad for a puller leg, the main one I needed to use has one broken leg and it broke again after welding as I suspected it would,

I might be able to help with the internal bearing puller? Not sure if it can be used with a slide hammer though , brought it new and used it twice

I have a small slide hammer but I don't think it has an internal puller, do you have a picture or link to one as I am finding it hard to visualise what you need,

Well it’s not a blind hole as such.

Its an aluminium spindle assembly, with a bearing recessed in both ends.

bearing has a 20mm ID.
