Today I took advantage of the sunshine and the fact that we aren't in total lockdown yet and took the motorbike out for a 175 mile ride including some roads I know but I also added a few new roads to my list of great biking roads:

Found myself in Hay-on-Wye (which I've never seen so quiet) and a few bookshops were open, so thanks to Richard Booth's fine bookshop, I acquired this:

It seems rare to find a welding book with so much focus on TIG rather that it being Arc/Gas/MIG with TIG as an afterthought. The only other one I've found is this one, but that's a bit out of my price range...

Stuff and that , time for a de-rust-athon , it's only surface rust so I would have thought they will come up like new.

dip the cleaned files in battery acid for 4 hours and they will come up sharp citric will hardly take anything off them

they worked on mine: after a week.

I did a post on here showing files that had been dipped I think in 8 hours the acid took about 10 thousandth of an inch off

i remember.

i put some rusty files i got from the bootie in, just because i had capacity.
took em out a week later and they came out sharp. its possinle they were new but rusty.

it is a bit legless at the moment, need to wheel the mig into the room, the plastic cabinet is screwed to the wall, as is the steel one,

Were there six feet sticking out the bottom of the bed last night? Worth checking but make sure you dont get out of the bed to count them

Got it, just in time, bigger than it looks in the pictures, the motor must be worth the £60.00, but why if you are down a farm track and your post code is shared with another set of units down another farm track why do you not give a few directions>>>>>>>>>>>>
