they have just discovered that sea levels are not rising, the east coast is sinking, 1/4" a month!

But Scotland is rising.
This is happening all over the Europe land.
It is all due to the last ice age. The weight pushed down the tetonoic plate. So, now it is returning to the old balance point.

A leak from my compressor, the unloader valve fitting has wheezed its last.

And a £10 addition to my credit card bill for a replacement. And I'm glad I could get one, a replacement pressure switch was listed at £100+.

Finally included a link for the cheap banggood end mill cutter I bought earlier this month.

Been a bit busy, so today was the first time I have used the cutter, and even then, only on some aluminium, just one pass, and probably the wrong speed.

I also got the Chinese lathe (a kind member here sold me), moved from the big shed, and onto the workbench of the wee hut. I can now finally make a start rebuilding it.

Best thing I’ve ever bought was that motorbike scissor lift with wheels I moved the 100lb+ lathe bed and head all by myself, including up onto the workbench. First rule in life, work clever, not hard, although my back is definitely complaining.

I dont think so they are too small and hard, Winchboy is going to take a few to work to see if any one can identify them, I dont want to weight them in if they are worth more!

Went skip diving. Mad what has been thrown out.
Picked out of the bottom of a skip at one of the sites we work at.

Drills are Cleveland or Presto.
Some of the reamers are dormer.
Milling Cutters are Clarkson.
Chuck is a Jacobs made in Sheffield and the arbor is also Jacobs. Was really rusty but cleaned up good.
Sykes circlip tool is missing the points and a bolt.
Nowt wrong with the chain hauser.
Trolley is for a portable pump but it was the mint switchgear I wanted.

Too much metal in the other skip to get to the bottom god knows what could be in the bottom. These idiots that work here don’t even know what a morse taper drill is. Some have been “used” in a drill chuck looking at the ring worn in them.
