Thanks, am back on Friday for a nuclear medicine CT scan a quick injection of gamma something then a quick initial scan then back about 3 hours later for the in-depth scan to see how far its spread. The consultant has said at this stage they will have to cut away absolutely anything that is or may be infected all the mussel, and bone might even end up with a shorter leg.
Can't believe all this from a simple fracture at the start of the year.
It's frightening how a fairly "innocent" incident can mushroom into something potentially sinister with uncertain outcomes.
Be encouraged that things are happening very quickly!
