Thanks, am back on Friday for a nuclear medicine CT scan a quick injection of gamma something then a quick initial scan then back about 3 hours later for the in-depth scan to see how far its spread. The consultant has said at this stage they will have to cut away absolutely anything that is or may be infected all the mussel, and bone might even end up with a shorter leg.
Can't believe all this from a simple fracture at the start of the year.

It's frightening how a fairly "innocent" incident can mushroom into something potentially sinister with uncertain outcomes.
Be encouraged that things are happening very quickly!

Wasn't what I thought I'd bought.

I'd looked at some many dual dowlers I saw an ex demo and clicked buy.

Should have been one of these.

The reviews are not great.
It's only sprung one side causing binding and too strong a spring. needs a new viewing window made as the line is far too thick but for 130 compared to 900 for a mafel it's worth taking the time to fettle for the low use it will get.
Will also machine holes for sprung locating dowels for easy referencing.

Better wait a few weeks before ordering as I just bought a biscuit cutter.

I cant either really but need to change the way I work if I am going to carry on. Got the Bosch rail with the 32mm spacing on to use the router, at the moment I end grain drill with a hand drill and jig.

The only biscuit joiner I am familiar with is the dunking kind. Where the biscuit I am dunking ends up joining the one at the bottom of the cup

for 900, I'd be looking at a domino, to be honest?
Or is there a particular reason to favour dowels?
(considering that dominos can be made with some 5mm ply ripped into lengths, and rounded over?)

Like sizes it would actually cut etc.

I have unboxed it Mr Ian and its a sloppy thing, way too much slack in just about every way. It will do for what I need which is a lightweight saw to drag about the yard but would not count on it for any degree of accuracy.

When dealing with certain people don't joke.

I did a local vending machine company a favour. Not a big one. but using redundant equipment I helped them reduce their insurance bill.
As a thank you the owner said; "What do you want Mr.TYA?
I said, as a joke; "How about a coffee vending machine for MIS? We buy the stuff from you and we raise funds with our members and guest using it."

He gave me this.

Only the coffee and tea side work. But is plumbed in to his spare test line and today it was used for the first time.

A nice heavy adjustable angle plate, wanted one for a while now but when they come up they are normally miles away up country, this one was pretty local to me. For 63 quid I didnt think that was to bad a price, Its good and heavy about 65 ish kilos its been outside a while



but had plenty of old grease on it Ive given a quick wire brush off and its cleaned up quite well.

Indeed, with a 2 pin socket under the dash.

1959 ish the early ones didn't have the photo electric cell on off switch , they used to have a pair of croc clips to go on the battery . Think the photo cell came in about 1962
Old Snotty Knotty's son across the road had a bit of a burn up when the live wire shorted against a sharp edge on the bonnet
Funny to realise theirs was the only car on the road out of 35 council houses in the cul de sac for several years .

Circa the same time but a bit earlier about mid November .. PC Scott always a sneaky bstd rode his bike nearly 12 miles from the Billinghay police station in the very early hours of the day , to catch Knotty without a parking light as he'd parked on the road with the flow of traffic . The summons was found on the car just turned six in the morning when Mick was about to go to work in the car .

Nice the guy also have fixed angle plate for sale but for some reason the corner parts had been milled out so I left it alone

Not today but finally took it out of the box today. It’s a cheap one but it’s for outside use nice 200mm jaws and 200mm opening very little slack and feels nice .
made a bracket to be able to put up and take down quickly so it’s not left in the rain
