I often find stuff cheap. Unfortunately not always in the position to get it.
My Manchester 6 power hacksaw was working in a workshop close to my location. Health and safety paid them a visit and booked the saw unsafe to use because the blade didn't have a cover.
I gave £75 for the saw.

Here is way different there are people who sell garbage for the double of the value of the new product
For this reason I am thinking to search at the scrapyard but is something like 50km away from where I live
There are closer scrapyards but they don't treat metals scraps they are just car cemetery

Thanks, I’ve been looking for the last couple of yrs on and off, in no hurry. Much rather find one I really liked at the price I was prepared to pay. Nearly bought one in Belgium last month but the seller sold it from under me.
This was 1500quid less, and only 2hrs away.

As we spend a third day clearing out my Mother-in-law's house before it goes on the market (she passed away just over three weeks ago) I've acquired a magnifying glass, a nice Rabone steel rule, some German made Radio Spares jewellers screwdrivers, a Polaroid camera with film that expired in '07, and a lovely Parkinson No 43 vice - that'll replace the Record bench vice that I have as it doesn't close perfectly straight like this one.

All this on my 49th!
