Putting the new toys to work today.
And I’ve just given the Yanks on gate guard at Lakenheath a taste of high octane bagpipes! Every head swivelled to my direction as I drove through the gates, full volume music and all hi-viz beacons and flashers lit up.
Out of the pictures 5 appricot croissants
Unfortunately they have butter and I'm intolerant to lactose so I can't eat them ,but I made happy my mom ,my sister ,my grandmother and my brother's daughter that today makes 16 monthsNow, you just have to give us a video of that sound & light show!!And believe it or not, I [briefly] considered getting a set of those train air horns for the car a while back......
The most important purchase of the lot!![]()
Impact driver? Or Impact wrench?

And you took a picture of the fudge......earned me a kiss on the cheek from a gorgeous young American gal. My escort while I was doing my thing at Lakenheath, I took pity on her for having to sit around looking bored while I moved some cabins this morning, and gave her a packet of Shetland’s finest fudge. Not sure if everyone gets an escort, or just wierdo truck drivers from Yorkshire,, but either way it was a lovely end to a great visit.
