Another week, another hotel.
But another chance to explore new shops.
Meat grinder. Plans for this, in which I will be asking the wise and sensible members of this forum.
Rain King sprinkler. Post WW2. Need a lot of work. But for £1, it will be a fun project for MIS.
Another Bit and Brace drill, but with a twist.

But it has an adapter to take a nice 3 jaw chuck.
In a Toy shop, they had Mamod spares. So a new Level plug. So the Mamod Mecconno engine is now safe to use.
But another chance to explore new shops.

Today I acquired a Warco WM14 mini milling machine with dro. It was delivered this afternoon, and the man got the machine as far as he could into the back garden for me. A bit of grunt work and it was in the shed.
At this point it went a teeny bit pear shaped. I couldn’t get hold of a neighbour to help with the final lift onto the base, so being me, I organised a block by block lifting system. Slowly but surely, the machine was nearing level with its stand, and I gently ‘walked’ it over, when things got all wobbly. At that point, I carefully dismantled everything, and I admitted defeat.
I shall get hold of a passing neighbour over the next day or so to move it, but in the meantime, it’s sitting on a little pallet, and I switched everything on, fiddled with switches, and twirled various handles. All seems to work, but I don’t want to do too much until it’s in its proper place.
I shall take pictures once it is in place, and set up, but here’s a stock photo for now.

Big shout out to @cheb who not only delivered the Meddings to my door, but carried it round the house [bits separated], up the garden to the shed, put it in its new home, assembled it and showed me it working - top bloke!! 
Here it is with its little brother, which will be going on F/book and Gumtree as of tomorrow.
Guess who's going to be drilling holes in stuff tomorrow.
Shared a brew and a blether - it's nice to have a face to a name among the Members.

I acquired this today, needs a good clean up and I have no doubt that there will be play in most of it. Will hopefully strip it down and refurbish it properly at some point.
It should do to get me started in machining though, having only used a lathe for a couple of weeks in school 18 years ago.

Certainly did the lucky part is I've only had one for a few months in my workshop I've always never had one till I was given it now I will always have one

Yeah Drummond B, from the serial number it was probably made in 1920.
The top slide was still in the van when I took the photo. I think it is all complete, though a change wheel may be in the wrong location. I need to find exactly which ones I should have and the correct mounting for them.@Mike Pinches I hope the top slide is in that box.
I will start a thread when I start refurbishing it, but it won't be for a couple of months as I need to get the R1 ready for the next race meeting and finish building and sell a zx7r first

An Evolution Rage 4 saw from their shop on eBay. Listed as B grade and other than some minor sign of use on the blade it looks and cuts like new and all for £50 delivered (inc Ebay 10% off).
Had a few practice cuts using an old bit of 3mm thick angle iron and pretty impressed but does kick out a fair bit of swarth so will need a hood of some form making.
