Today I acquired an abandoned kitten. Pulled a boat out of a canal as it was sinking yesterday.

Before that I went up to the proposed craning site, also yesterday, when I got there, middle of nowhere, could here a car meowing, eventually crossed a bridge, to where the sound was coming from, obviously it stopped. Repeat 5 times. Clearly a cat trapped, or in pain of actually just abandoned.

After the craning the client spotted the cat, and took it some food.

Last night she caught it, took it back to the boat and looked after it.

This morning she phoned me up and asked me if I wanted it.

3 months old, house trained , not frightened of dogs. Just needs a lot of love and cuddles.

Happy ending, just waiting for the kids to get home from the beach.

It won't move off my lap.

A Bulldog garden fork, split handle type. The tines were bent, not a problem if you have a big vice.

Also the tiniest Gordon spanner I’ve ever seen!

Lastly some Air Ministry Wilkinson round nosed pliers. Anyone know anything about the other markings on them?

..the new rocker covers for my hot rod motor.

They are cast in Ireland, a guy I found on Facebook. He has a web site: http://jrcast.com/

They seem very well made, quite hefty casting too. Now they’ve arrived I’m not sure the gloss finish will match the rest of my cars style/design, but we will see.

A big bo of about 30 ss studs with 2 nuts and washers on eah about m24
Gloves
3 bags of cable ties
Some ss weld on pipe fittings
What seems to be a steam valve thin?
Some wall Anchor sleves to gonon m10 thread....
Onn and 20 metal rollers about 300mm long that will soon be a feeder table for the band saw!

Hmmm, how long are the m24 studs with nuts? Want a handful for bolting a press frame together...

The dremmel oddsnsods of tooling were a bit low so I bought a few burrs and some dinky saw blades, never knew such trickery existed until I searched for dremmel accessories Also got an assortment of belts for the finger sander.

Nope but I think nearly 20years ago now I had the same poster on my wall.

Not tried them yet, the ones I had in the draw fell to bits so I thought I would try a multi pack of different grades and see how I get on.

Following someone's post here a while back, I bought a pack of [iirc] 4" wide ones and cut them to make narrow ones for the power file.

I'm still using them, but it took a while so I'd not do it again......
