But when I unboxed it things were not quite right Its going back, the whole frame is as missed as A holes . Certainly not jig built

Two more hammers for the rack, another 2lb by Brades and a 3lb Snail brand. Never found a 3lb before so dead pleased. Need to get that 1lb hammer handled and I’ll be away.

Also, someone was interested in Elwell forge the other day. I thought they might like to see this lovely old tool I bought a while ago, don’t think it’s ever been used.

Bonus round to the acquisitions, what I thought was a bigger Skelton hoe than the one I already have (right) but the shape is different. Both are nice and both will be used. Skelton is fantastic quality, $10 is a steal.

Whatever your thoughts or ideas are, do not submit them to the Anti-Planning department for approval, as most likely they will give you a ridiculous excuse for denial;
like, " It would be harmful to the visual amenity of the neighbours and community ", especially if it can't be seen by anyone.

New grease gun to replace the useless Sealey one I had. Much better grease gun with grease only coming out of the hose like it supposed to do and the pistol grip is easier to operate one handed. Sealey grease gun has gone in the bin.

I got this baby Leytool hand drill a while ago.
But they brow up fast.




Has hard a hard life, the handle has ben repaired, but looks like a decent repair.




Two speed action, but I need to do a bit off research into it.

Imperial threads on the Harrison. Had a 63t changewheels in a box of bits that was the correct pitch, turned the bore out and filed a new key way and away she goes

I’ve already given it a go but by no means an extensive test. Rear prop on the Shogun as well as the top ball joints. The trigger is firm but easy too with no slop in the action. This is using Mobil XHP 222 grease which is thicker than most. Not sure how much grease comes out with each full squeeze of the trigger but seemed a lot quicker than the previous Sealey one. Then again that was useless and half the pumps of the handle produced nothing.
The grease nipple connector goes on easy and no grease escapes. The connector feels much tighter to get off and I thought it was stuck at first but just angle it to the side and it comes off.
The hose is generous at 18 inch, it looks thin but it is firm and still flexible.

Fitting a new cartridge was simply. Pull the handle back, insert the cartridge, fit the pump and push the handle in, pull out the handle and repeat, press the air release button (you hear a little hiss) squeeze the trigger about 3 times and grease is coming out the nozzle.

For £30 it feels very well engineered.

Thanks, I think I will get one, could never get the normal grease guns to work very well, constantly having to bleed them etc.

I was given a few lengths of thick wall 1" box section and a few random bits of bigger box section, It needed a clean up but it has made the ideal supports for my welding and fabrication bench, It should hold 6 boxes of metal working tools and bits when finished, The plan is to add sides and doors and pop up wheels to make it mobile if needed.

Yeah, and laughing out loud my Wife noted that the atlas made note of ALDI stores locations on all pages; smart advertising for sure.

I was surprised for sure, the hooks are worth more than 99 pence; there is also a plastic red flag and a magnetic sticker which states " ON TOW " included.

So the snap on man cane round and I knew I needed a second ratchet for weekends away rather than taking every single tool I owned with me!

I got this for £40 cash which was ace and a set of screwdrivers for £45 so well pleased

I almost made an impromptu purchase of the 3/8 impact gun but couldn’t justify it so the girl I work with did instead

A Ryobi One+ Xenon lamp with a dead Li-Ion battery and a box of used HD castors for nowt from a warehouse tidy up. The battery wouldn't take a charge so I opened it up to find all the cells around 1v, gave the pack a few seconds directly with 12v then 18v from a bench power supply and tried the charger again and it started charging. Checked this evening and it seems to be holding a charge so I have gained a battery, time will tell if it is any good. The lamp is like a searchlight, the only use I can think to put it to is annoying people!
