Certainly do but on another note I have shed envy of the guy I bought it of he had all the kit a lathe that can easily turn 3f round but that's his business^^^^^well you got the weathert for it

Yup I went to look at the ski but first thing I done was have a nosey round the good stuffooh tounge hanging out when he opened the workshop
Seadoo, a truly international jetski. Canadian company, made in Mexico & delivered to the UK via their European distribution center in Belgium!
The Seadoo Ireland main agent is based in the unit opposite out Men's Shed. The jetskis come packed in a really good crate & we get the crates for firewood so we are able to keep track on what he is selling.
He is selling at least 2-3 per week all year round, when the sun appears 7 or 8! At £25-£30k each that's a good turnover! He does all the work himself, he starts at 6am & does a 12 hr day, 6 days a week! I was chatting to him in April & he had already sold his 2019 quota of jetskis!Approx 75 green scotch pads, mixture of brands. £15
Some off cuts of heavy gauge steel. £10
Spotted this at an auction, knew it was a bender of some type & bought it for £15. Wasn't until I got home & googled it that I discovered it costs over £400!
It's missing the rollers, should be able to make them.

Yesterday I acquired a fixed heel.
October I managed to fracture it in 12 places after a minor fall.
Yesterday I had key hole surgery, under local, to fix it.
Some of the cracks were not heeling as they should.
Basically they make a hole, poke around inside, make small talk and glue the cracks.
Sounds simples, it was.
The dressing is a plaster and to help inserts into the boots.

Different hospital, different nurse.
I was under the impression it was a appointment to discuss future plans.
So it was a shock to find out it was corrective surgery.
Best bit was in the recovery room when the tea lady showed off, all be it unbeknown, her stocking tops.

That's good, anything to aid a swift recovery
A lot better than. I fared yesterday.
Loading a couple of 25 metre rail crossings on the trailer and decided to help the side loader driver by levering the crossing a few inches forward onto the trailer using a side restraint post, 4x2 x36 box section, as a crowbar. The bottom of the box slipped as I pushed forward, it pivoted on the rail and the bottom, quite predictably
, shot back towards me and smacked me under the chin . Spent the next few minutes sat on a stack of rails spitting blood from where my tongue was cut, not badly, thankfully, and watching lots of little birds flying around my head, while the abnormal load escort driver, our 19 year old apprentice, turned pale and brought me 3 first aid kits and was fully convinced I would die 
.No major harm done, and back to (whatever passes for) normal today after a more than modest glass of whisky and an early night in bed last night, but jeez, you’d think that at 55 I’d know better by now...

Just found these lovelies in the mancave. I acquired them a while back when I was lurking in the long gone stainless steel works in Sheffield but forgot about them. Tat to most folk, but a reminder of an almost forgotten era for me, think it’s time they went on display . Might mount the yellow sign on a board and put it in the windscreen of my truck when I’m working.
