Fuel consumption
is something I know about very well. Our 455 cubic inch Oldsmobile engine would drink about 40 gallons on a good day's outing.
Just to keep on topic, today I acquired a bit of nostalgia, remembering when gas prices were around a dollar a gallon and a weekend adventure wouldn't leave us eating beans on toast for the rest of the month.
Here's a photo from the sad day I sold the 1973 Miller Jet. Bought the used hull as a shell and spent two years rebuilding it.
