I must of been a good TYA.

Mrs TYA Brought me Breakfast in bed.

That aside we had a very pleasant day out, we decided to spend the day out at Lime Regis. What allowed me to detor and show her some of the shops I like to visit.

Mrs TYA did very very well. I got her some lovely Silver jewellery.

She also treated me to a few nice items.



No8. Raw Plug Drill. It was in the original box, but that fell to bits on the journey home. It is new old stock




A 1950's Meyer motorist torch, 2 x D Cells. The Top will flash after a few seconds and there were 2 spares bulbs in the body caps. The trader even threw in the new batteries.



Record Plough Plane, it is a Vampire plane. It drew blood.



Wooden Rebate plane with a set of blades. I think 2 are missing. Sadly a trader has tried to restore it and it is now seized solid. As I type it is in a meths vapour tank to remove the hard wax.



Stanly Guage, Yes I now have another one. But £1 it was a crime to leave it behind.

Today I acquired the #6 Denbeigh fly press with its original cast iron stand that I bought off of the bay about three weeks ago. Finally, today's weather looked good enough to make the long trip for collection. The seller was a nice guy who made every effort to make loading it in my van as quick and easy as possible; I didn't even need to bring an engine hoist. It was a great day out for my Wife and I, we love a road trip.

Have a look on Thingiverse for parametric spur gears, they need (free) OpenSCAD to generate your choice of tooth-count, DP/Module etc. And there are even parametric bevel and helical gears...

Thanks Dave the free Open Scad thing is where I get a bit confused . I've spent a few hours on Thingiverse but couldn't workout how to get the full data from it on to my printer. I've had a mild stroke a while back and retention of complex info is not easy at present . It might change though …. Do you have an" I d- 10- T5 " guide as to how to do it that you'd like to share with me and others on site ?

Currently I think I've become reasonably proficient with the basics of Fusion 360 and will be able to make my own parametric designed gears . Fusion 360 has a neat button called print , it slices, can put webs & supports on drawings and allow you to increase/ decrease the number of reference points the printer nozzle will visit amongst may other things .



This is my first self drawn print using Fusion 360 & a Joseph Prusa original i3 3D Mk 3 printer . It took about 30 hours of watching the videos then four attempts at getting the drawing done.. I had problems with constraints and some of the chamfers on angled planes till I spent half an hour removing everyone I could find .
Size of the part o 18. 2 mm tall by 22 mm long by 21.46 mm wide .
Now I'm almost ready to start prepping them to make a tree of three for lost low heat plastic casting . Casting the tree in standard plumbing brass using my home made furnace for the job as soon as I get the casting centrifuge made .

Just don't tell the better half I said it! She's been after a dog for ages, but with my shifts and her working it would be alone for big stretches of the day, and the house isn't really big enough for a dog plus the 2 cats and us. A walk is definietly better with a dog or two.

I have a black lab who spends three days a week at the kennels - loves it! We joke it’s like Ibiza for dogs, he comes back knackered every day and keeps him quiet and sleepy for a few days

I know it's off topic ..I apologise but think on this post afore you kennel your dogs & cats .

Never again will I kennel our dog here in South Wales .. Five years ago , the last time we put him in kennels was for three weeks , he was fuly uptodate with injections , worming & flea treatment.

I'd turned up unannounced a day early to collect him , the kennels owner was reluctant to let me have him three & then saying he hadn't been groomed , alarm bells rang big time .
The poor little beggar, whimpered , cried & yorped from the minute he heard me speaking , till he jumped in the back of the Sedona .. it was nearly two weeks before he's stop following me about like a shadow & that was with me training him all over again to stay whilst I moved a few feet away ..increasing the distance each time. As soon as I got out of sight he'd come tearing after me.

He was in a supposedly highly recommended five star kennel , I took him to the vets the next morning ….he'd lost six kg off his 27 kg weight and was a gibbering wreck , full of tape worm , diarrhoea and fleas. His coat was full of his poop. The 20 kg bag of his feed chicken & rice feed that would normally last him 30 days had all been used .. to feed the rest of the kennelled dogs no doubt
What he was crapping/ squirting out was rough milled undigested barley most likely sprayed with a week beef stock to get the dogs to eat it . We specifically asked that we give them his normal food for he has a wheat intolerance difficulty .​

When our vet saw the state of him he was fair spitting with anger , suspecting that he'd never been out of his kennel & pen at any time for exercise or human contact , possibly not even being allowed to go into the pen just shut up in the kennel .
