Today I acquired...........

3 years ago a shelled out on a load of makpak tool boxes (original systainers)
Great initially but showing there age and have become brittle. Fair few have been relegated to the bin.

Gained a fair few tstacks so taking the plunge over the next few months and swapping over.

Will be my core handtools drills and drill paraphernalia in here. Will free up a few tstacks for other tools too.

The other day I get a würth BMH 5-40 SE (Bosch GBH 5 DCE) for free
Armature failure
Today went to my friend's powertools repair shop and after talk about he gave me a little bit damaged new armature for free
Took it home and repaired my new sds max rotary hammer
It works perfectly
Think is a success
Tomorrow if I can i will do some photos of my new toy

I'm planning to use it as a light for the mill - I'll cobble together a stand/support for it and it will provide plenty of light [did I say it's BRIGHT!!?] so that I can see the workpiece. It'll also serve duty on the drill and lathe if needed.....

Seems very robust, made from aluminium with three light levels and is rechargeable through USB.

Today i decided to buy a VW camper /day van that is road ready rather than my normal bright idea of buying a rust bucket that i will have to spend time doing and not get the use of.

A local to a route home I take is a charity shop who will bundle odd stuff they can't sell, for many reasons. They get bundled up into a shoe box and wrapped in brown paper.
They ask for bids over a set price. You get a raffle ticket.
If you loose you loose no money.
If you win you pay you money and take the box.
Then you find what is in it.

I bided on 4 box's and won 2.

Box 1.



5 chisels
Long Blade ratchet screwdriver.
I small gripping screwdriver.
Another small claw hammer.
Tube of silicon strong adhesives.
2 containers of bicarbonate of soda.
Spring Balance.

Box 2.



Claw hammer.
Temperature gauge, for something unknown.
3 screwdrivers. 2 x Pozi and 1 flat.
Adjustable spanner.
9 x M10 x 80mm bolts, nuts and washers.



Oh look, one of those hose nozzles. I had a post about one of them.

The clean eyed members will see that blown capacitor, from the pressure washer. It will make the rubbish bin, soon

^^^^^^^ got 9 of those exact chisels had them years just last week i used the grinding wheel to grind them as there where in a fair state now i can (and did)cut my fingers with them so they all took a fair edge

Over Christmas the "Santa Post Box" what was used to collect letters for Father Christmas was set on fire.
Yes. there are some real low life's.

I asked a friend if he still had access to one I could copy to make a new one.

Well I now have one to keep.



It is a "Fake" but of the correct size. I can now make a new one.
