Drips come in from too big an area.
I have an hippo submersible pump rigged up to a long hosepipe. Used to be expert with it. After the roof was fixed it was a skill I thought I could unlearn

a automatic key cutting machine (why not ) , saw it on gumtree and couldn't resist, haggled and got it for 60 quid ,seems to work fine but needs adjusters etc unseized and a bit tlc , seems like a fun restoration project ,will probably earn its keep as kids are always losing theirs plus I can make spares for loads of locks I've got

Finally got the parcel I've been moaning about in that grumpy thread! 
It's a Quadro 4000 to replace the FireGL v5600 that sometimes struggles with two web browsers open let alone HD video playback! I am unfortunately still using the FireGL at the same time as my monitors only have DVI inputs and the Quadro only has one.

A Singer 306K semi-industrial machine that had sat unused for about 30 years. Freed off the gloopy oil and it runs well now that I've completely rewired it. The Treadle now operates the speed control rather than a pulley wheel. Parts for this model are very hard to find and it uses odd sized needles and bobbins. £60.

Is that the one where the top rolls over to stow the machine inside? My nan had one of those when I was a kid and she was always on at us not to touch it in case we broke the needle.

Have used one similar.
I have the table in garden waiting time for me to sort it.
The weakest link was the wooden link from the bottom to the machine. Should be made from wood.
Pine, with the grain going vertical and clamped by 2 screws.
The grain runs vertically, so if to much force is used it splits alone the grain and does not damaged the machine.
Then they were replaced with a "Bakelite" but that would shatter.
In And after WW2 aircraft alloy was used.
The holes are a fraction size, (Singer design)the member with the "A-Z" drills is well placed to drill them for you.
If you have the "Shuttle" bobbin drop me a PM and I can point you in the direction of spares for the machine.

Nice looking things but sadly used as ornaments now or pulled apart for a the cast iron base to make tables out of, The standard lamp looks good as well not sure about the rat on the right though.
