Not a bacho but same idea.
Will chuck it in the van. Come in handy.
This has been my go to tool for nail removal for years. Mine must be 15 years old and still going strong. Hammer under the head and bang the end with a hammer, out they come.

I come home with similar things and describe them as fantastic too. The response isn't often fantastic - it's dirty, filthy, old, rusty, rubbish etc etc opinions soon change six months down the line when they're all gleaming and oiled and we're fixing things ourselves instead of paying a man to do it

It has taken a week to get this far.
But junk to usable.
Cleaned up. Had to make new dividers as the old ones had rusted to badly. But I "up-cycled" (could not resist) some I saved from a dead Stanley drill tin. Fixed them the original way. Centre punched into tin
The drills have had a quick dress on a slip stone. Have not used them yet. Need working legs.
The label is original.
Yes The fibre plugs are available, got some on order.
Finished, working, but.
The finish on the handle is not as good as I hoped. It soaks up the oil like a camel in the desert drinks water.
The chuck takes 3mm drill and the action is smooth.
Cleaned in Caustic, last Thursday. Then left to soak in citric acid.
Hand cleaned with wire wool. Then in a leather bag, left in pocket and as I walked it finished the clean.
Then painted.
Handles need to be sourced, but that will wait until I am mobile.
The small Woden Vice.
Cleaned by soaking it in Citric acid. Wire wool was used to clean it. Now waiting on paint.
I am disappointed on the final finish of the vice, very rough in places.
The breast drill chuck.
Easy to do, but.
Even through it is a Stanley the jaw springs are again a different design.
I posted on trying to find replacement springs and now have come across 5 different designs from Stanley alone.
Finally.

I cleaned this up when waiting for key hole surgery this week. The old man next to me was interested in it, he used one when he was younger.
I gave it to him.

The missus found this in one of our outbuildings, never seen it before so I guess this classes it as being acquired today
She thought it was a billhook but I'm pretty sure it's a slasher.
The split stem where the handle goes is very heavy steel, it looks blacksmith made
There are some marks on the blade but I don't think these are makers marks, more like owners initials but I can't make them out
She already has a couple of billhooks and I bought her an Austrian scythe last year so I will clean it up, sharpen it and find a handle for it and add it to her collection. She has already laid a few hedges with the billhooks and been out with the scythe between the trees we planted earlier in the year so getting some good use.
