Ooh that's pretty. Is that an ovalised chainring?
Not been a good week working out of the wife's car.
Until some bugger drives off with it. Parking would be a pig too.*this* is why I always preferred to use a trailer.
can always find something to tow it.
and no more vulnerable than a van

Added fuel costs. Longer journey times.
No roof rack for long timbers.
Sure I could think of more reasons.
If today didn't fix it was gonna buy a cheap van for a few weeks

Would you drive a normal sized box trailer with 5.1m lengths of timber on top.theft is same as van? just different solution? or - remove hitch and/or wheels rather than wheel clamp - alarm either way.
parking? admitted. I would argue benefits outweigh.
why can't you put a rrofrack on a trailer - I put one on a horse trailer to carry my market stall?
are the journey times significant? car + trailer = 60. a roads, van = 60
m/ways - 100 miles @60mph= 1hr 40
@70mpg = 1hr 30.
at £30/HR = £5 each way difference. maybe significant?
compare it to a lost day's work when your van breaks down?
40hr weeks, 8 hour days, 5 day weeks, 50 weeks a year, £30 an hr
so (5d x50w x £5 per week) = 1350 a year extra.
1 days labour = 8hr x£30 = £240
so
1350/240 = 5days 5hrs per year in breakdowns. worst case.(100 mile to job, each way, every day)
I don't know your hourly rate for labour - less makes trailer more economic. larger hourly rate makes it less so.
no.Would you drive a normal sized box trailer with 5.1m lengths of timber on top.
Clearing the old mans house, the tools are mostly junk Id not use, but these, particularly the brass one I rather like, now where is the View attachment 158372 View attachment 158371 View attachment 158373 best place to find out more about it!View attachment 158370
Ok if you say so.
Il stick with my van you stick with your trailer. Were all happy.

You know what they say about opinions...

Yes The Ss daggers are fairly common and well documented on line, this one is quite abused and the handle is cracked, the naval dagger apperars to be older pre ww1, but cant pin it down exactly.I have got exactly the same German dagger. My Grandad took it off a German in WW2 who was trying to kill him.
