This year poppy for Mrs TYA,
Silver,with Gem stones, well Dress Gem stones, So not diamonds, I hope they are not.
Dated for 1938 and hall marked as English silver.

This as well, was in Screw fix clearance bin. The sanding drums were not.
Course, medium and fine wire wool.
Dark oak wood stain.
10 x cup hooks.
2 more hammers.
A new to me second hand shop.
@slim_boy_fat I told you I have plans.
Stanley Hand drill, damaged. But a fast gear model.
Brace and Bit hole saw, sharp. It drew blood.
Not including the sweet stuff for Mrs TYA and Mini Me.
Or the drum sander, that was £10.99. Still nifted that it was cheaper to buy a kit. Not new sanding sleeves.

Good news.
I have got my winter "Keep me out of Mrs TYA hair" projects.
Plus a few silly bits.
Here are the silly bits.
Alloy taper thread tap, good for the tank I got 3 years ago to hold waste fuel.
Archimedes drill, I did get a few small spade bits as well.
Cranked handle adjustable wrench. All working, bit of surface rust.
How ever I can not look at this without thinking and laughing at what my friend call it.
"Oh it looks like a sperm, is it called a sperm spanner"
English is not her first language.
Now the 2 items hat I plan to have fun is restoring.
I hand cranked pump, it has a name on it. But I have not looked into the history, as of yet.
Stanley 3/8" bench mounted hand powered drill.
Nothing moves on it.
So I am going to be busy.

Excellent finds TYA, love the archimedes drill, havn't seen one of those since I was a youngster... . and that was a while ago

Those pumps weee used in ROC posts, probably a standard design but a possible avenue of exploration.

Looks like the one I had years ago. You needed three hands to operate it, one to crank, one to operate the downfeed, and one to hold the workpiece.
Do Aardvarks have three hands ?

But there is a matching vice for it. Bidding on one now. Plus heading back to the shop to rummage in the pile I found that in.

This morning I acquired £60.
Finally sold the winter wheels (steel rims, Nokian WR D3's) from the Mini I had until last May - they saw three winters of use and didn't owe my anything so glad to be shot of them - had another winter left in them I reckon. Don't think that the chap that has bought them appreciates that they don't have TPMS sensors in them, so the TPMS in his wife's new Mini will go off once he fits them...

I here by give and example.
Norbert has a friend in the "Wobbly Box" league.
He has a 2008 Hyundai Terracan to tow his "Wobbly Box" at a constant sped of 50% below indicated road speed. This has only happened since they met.
The tyres in the above vehicle are directional, so when the owner notices the fronts were wearing out (Tracking issue, I will tell soon), Norbert suggested they rotate the tyres, Front NS to Rear OS etc.
This dis not help the wear, in fact it made it worse on all 4 tyres.
Don't ask why the spare was a different size. I didn't ask.
I was called to lend some gear so all 5 wheels can be removed and taken to have new rubber fitted.
That's when I noticed that 3 ball joints on the front were shot.
The friend of Norbert was sensible, until he met Norbert.
