Those last two posts really mauled me, they're absolute grubbers..

Today I purchased / acquired several bits of drain pipe angles & feet including a new 3 mtr square profile 3 inch down pipe to repair two drain pipes that one of my pups wrecked 10 years ago .
The big daft sod weighted 35 Kg and decided to go tearing round the perimeter fence & behind the office . Those little plastic things sticking out meant nothing to him as he tore around the garden un-noticed for several crazy minutes ,. He ended up smashing off breaking up both down pipes at the bottom end …. bottom parts of three angle joints & a straight joiner, on each of the two office guttering down pipes .
Better late than never comes to mind on this one.

My excuse is that I'd not been able to find a good matching make till this morning whilst I was in B&Q .
I'd purchased a couple or three test pieces over the years from numerous builders merchants but everything was a couple of mm out in critical dimension on one or more parts . Today's buys are the exact right type and made by the same company " Flowplas " , it all fits together well.

It sure ain't the first time I've set myself on fire and it probably won't be the last. I still had 2 more layers to go at that point so no real panic plus I was already wearing welding gauntlets so real easy to put out.


I wouldn't mind so much but that was my only "scruffy" jumper I had that didn't have any holes in it.

We fired one of those off in a catapult. The "elastic" was some rubber bunsen burner tubing fixed between two gas taps in the Biology lab. The missile went the full length of the lab and through a window, without opening it first.
