Looks tidy.View attachment 153551 A long 40 mile ride home in my new toy! Needs a bit TLC and a couple of bits welding on the bucket!
It was like the old masseys, we think, with the swiveling bucket, and a cable pull, to release the bucket. But the loader hasnt been modified, so must be how it came from the factory, its an SM4. Need pallet forks and a bale spike, need to investigate a head stock, maybe! Oh and the 3/4 drum of concrete weight!Looks tidy.
I'm trying to work out what the original setup was on the powerloader for the bucket?
Should be a valuable tool when its up and running, i will take some more pictures as i clean it up, its full of thick grease at the moment sitting in some petrol ready to clean up.^^ That's clever - looks to be a fair weight to it?
That taper is working hard holding on to that lot..i would be scared it fell out and taking 2 drill bits with itI acquired this a while back but only found time to look at it today.
Needs a bronze bush made for both shafts as there is a little sideways play at the chuck ends.
Should speed up production jobs drilling two holes at the same time, haven't measured the max and minimum distance yet as the brass inserts are tight in the ally casting.

They must have come from a huge mincer. Imagine that. Look at the size of them. You could chuck a whole sheep in at a time...
Any plans to do a good turn and divide them up?
