Acquired this, how do I go about testing it, does it need a motor starter or something or can I just put a plug on it and go ?
Its less than 2 amps.
I only have a generator on site.

My dad used to say, Whatever you have someone wants and whatever you want someone has, I will often ask if something is for sale in a non pushy non dealer way, you never know.
was once looking for a fiesta , asked the gentleman customer of mine, sure he said ,we are looking at buying a new fiat give me wot the dealer was giving n its yours,by the way ,what miles has it i asks as it was 5yrs old ,hang on iwill have a look as its her car and newly motd, fetches the keys ,o its just turned 12000mls,£2500 and it was on my drive by 2pm .I was once given similar advice at of all places, an engine reconditioning shop, when the owner operator said: "If you're ever after something, tell everyone you meet, someone will have it or will know someone else who has"
It's proved almost faultless advice down the years.
I was once after an old chainsaw to restore, ended up with a 45cc McCulloch and two Partners; one 50cc and the other 70cc.
As you say, always pays to ask.

Seals made from carpet tiles will probably dissolve and turn to goo. Try to find some neoprene material.
But he's in NZ.![]()
It's all frosty because I came home and stuck it in the freezer, obviously.
I have the ideas, it is up to you to make them work.
