I am away from home and my normal hunting grounds. I having a long weekend away helping a friend and his rust bucket of an MG.
He is pleased that almost all pats are available.
The local cat boot was depressing, baby clothes, fruit and veg, toys and junk. In my view not worth the admission free.
I mean the coffee stand was using powdered milk in the drinks.
But I nab these 2 for £1.
Brand new, un used 3/4 x 10 BSW Die.
Do I need it? No. but why should that stop me or anyone.
And this.
No idea what it is, or were it is from, or the age.
But I liked it.
Brass framed filter set, dark green dark red and even darker red.
No markings, no names or numbers.
The seller said it was found in dads shed.

Plan B is about 80 quids worth of steel hidden on the next order, re use the A frame and the axle and make one similar but a couple of foot longer. Or cut the middle out and make a new section. Not sure yet. Today might be welding it back together with some splints so I can deliver a couple shelf units I really dont want to be putting on the roof of the Transit... To be honest I haven't entirely made my mind up. It is still cheap though.So...what's plan B?

Knipex are the best, looking to get a new pair now though as grips on mine are worn smooth, cant complain though it took a long long time!

if brass mounted most likely victorian, maybes of a camera/projector?whats the fitting like where it mounts on to what ever it came from

Those are the various colours which can be used for filtering welding/brazing light, if I recall correctly, from one of my old tomes.
