Got a similar one with my welder when I bought it, little flimsy side to side but plenty strong enoughI picked up a welding trolley today for £35, had a good chat with the lad selling it about tools and cars etc and he gave me a disposable bottle of Co2 for free

I was also off to get a proper bottle of gas from the welding shop but didn't have time in the end.

I do quite a bit of electrical work and enjoy it very much. I'm learning the testing side of things, mostly through John Ward on YT and the kind folks on here who answer my questions. 
I bought a MFT and am learning how to use it.

You can't go wrong with JW and a few others on Yt!
I am a huge Megger fan, they are great testers, I have an old 1552 that is 20 years old this year and still passes calibration every year, also rocking the 1741+ that is 5 years old and also been bulletproof.
Also have many other Megger testers, clamp meters, EV adapter, and all have been supeb!
Been after a cub at a realistic price for years,at last and haven’t had a road bike for 8 years,I’ve bought and sold them in the 80’s when they were 2/3 years old,but now cult status,this is convenient for putting in the van for relay journeys plus riding across the hill when travelling to paragliding sites,after all it has new nobblies.

JW does a review on the 1741 and it has a lot of functions I would never use.
This is virtually brand new and has all the domestics functions I am likely to need/not need.
Efixx is another good YT channel with really good simple content and none of the nonsense.
I had the 50 version in red back in the 70s, brilliant little bikes, I used to go thru the Dartford tunnel on it to college every day ( ..when it was just one tunnel with 2 way traffic

Have you seen the NIC-EIC webinars? 10 minutes of BS disclaimers and excuses before anything happens, very boring too
As for the Megger, I've had them for years and can't really fault them.

Yesterday I was back and forth to the local Household recycling centre.
I was lucky, met a few people I knew and came back with some nice stuff.
These will be de-commissioned and used as show items.
The contents are "not good for your health."
These two will be commissioned with new AFFF and the Ox blood disposed off.
This has a very fine grit wheel.
All 3 batteries are holding a charge.
This had a blown fuse in the plug, new fuse and a usable drill.
This was causing a older man some issues, when he tried to move it from his car, so we helped him. By putting it into mine.
I was lucky, met a few people I knew and came back with some nice stuff.

I gave it a very quick test earlier. Bear in mind I know little to nothing about mig welding (I use a stick welder for everything) but I managed to run a quick and dirty weld on some scrap so at least I know it runs okay. I then tried a higher power and tripped the 16A breaker so I may have to cut the 13A plug and fit a 16A plug and use my compressor socket. The compressor runs on a 16A C-type breaker because it needs to. What do people normally use for hobby welders on a dedicated circuit? C-type or B-type?
I've got a denailer for things like that. Shoots the nails out like you're in the wild west!

I went to C types on my workshop 32 amp sockets, not had tripping issues since. Been a few threads on it over the years
