Thanks but look closer, it's quite different. The one I have has a box section handle and will only do 900mm. I'm wanting to bend 1mm stainless with it really.

Got some vouchers over Christmas, so I spent them today.

There are also quite a few similarities.

One way to find out might be to try a narrower piece of 1mm stainless sheet, say 200mm wide, close to one of the set screws. See how it feels bending that, and go from there.

Gifted to me, as the owners hve had an up grade over the last few days, or do not know what they are for. Or. Give it to TYA has he can sort out a future.

Theses are not bad items, if you treat them with a bit of care. lways fit a decent blade.

Brand New, give to me as the the last person now has a battery one.

Yep deffo the same as mine Clive. I’ve only done 20 gauge - what’s that? About 1mm ish I think.
Does a reasonable job but not the tightest of bends - ok for what I do with it though.

Replacing the flimsy triangular reinforcement with a 120x10mm flat bar, would surely increase the workpiece thickness

I'm used to cheap Chinese brush cutters and even some other brand name one, this thing is a feather, feels like you aren't holding anything really

I’ve got one of those, with a strimmer attachment and the pole hedge trimmer - a very decent bit of kit, the strimmer makes light work of pretty heavy rough grass.

Is that your own Kombi or a customer's one?

They are a great job. I have the KM131R which is one of the most powerful ones Stihl do. It's a beast of a machine I really like it. I have a tiller for it that rips through root filled ground like it's nothing. And a strimmer attachment, carbon pole, hedge trimmer and a new brush ground sweeper attachment.

All genuine stuff, expensive but I got some good deals by being patient and bidding on ebay or from FB marketplace locally.

Worth the £ though IMO. Its top quality stuff. Mine is heavy enough being the largest engine but still OK for me personally.

Mine does need some new parts where the fittings attach as it sometimes loses drive, haven't got around to that yet. Aka a bushing or guide of some sort must be worn out.

I ordered a 12mm Wera 1/4" drive socket for my advent calendar tool kit that doesn't have one, the Surf has 12mm only and no 13mm socket heads as it's a proper Jap build and considered an unlucky number.
Received it less that 24 hours after ordering and only £3.48 including delivery!!!
