A tool I've wanted for a long time, and one which represents the start of a probably very expensive new hobby.



It's a Smith "Little Torch", absolutely miniscule oxy torch, used by jewellers and silversmiths. I was torn between this and the Greggersen one Stefan Gotteswinter showed off a few years ago, but I couldn't find any information (or anyone selling) that one.

I need to build a jewellers bench now, and find some rent free oxygen.

Got this fakita set this morning for 70 euros.
Angle grinder
Drill
1/2" impact
2 6Ah they say batteries
Charger
And case .
I'll run them on 4Ah Parkside batteries till I can get genuine Makita batteries and charger.
I've been waiting this moment for months and got a discount from the seller.
I'll start with those and I'll later replace with genuine stuff if the use justifies the expense.
I'll surely keep using my Parkside drill instead of the clone but that's a detail

A Raspberry Pi CM4 (not sure which version) on an IO breakout. One of my brother's mates acquired it, apparently his work were chucking loads of them out (I have of course asked for more if any more are chucked). I believe it was something to do with a now defunct LoRaWAN network, the hat with the M.2 slot presumably had a module on it. No idea what the LED strip was for.

Tuesday Night I had a great visitor, but a was a few pints ahead of the game.
But Wednesday I had to head to the deep dark west.


But this is what I acquired the last few days.

Not bad for £2, for the pair.

Multi colour pens, a small but good portble power pack and a Carbon Dioxide detector. Useful for those nutters who use oil lamps.

Nice cookware as well.

Paper shredder, been used today, shredding paper waste from the punch tape. 5 miles of the stuff.

Big Motor.

Looks very similar to an esab sentinel but with a bigger window and flip up design.

But in the past week I've bought few things

18" Stihl rollomatic .325 bar and chain, including file and handle, a set of screws and bits for my MS361 restoration project

2 connecting rods for my Würth/Bosch GBH5-40DCE SDS max rotary hammer

A couple of Hilti SDS plus rotary hammers for spares and repairs.
Te 16M and Te 30
They should be complete, disassembled for repairs but the owner didn't proceeded.
For now I know one has a snapped conrod
The other one is unknown but description states they have electrics in perfectly working conditions which is my insurance.
If they can't be fixed I can sold them for spare and get them paid off just selling the armatures

Not really random.
I've took my time taking in consideration various aspects of those two hammers.
My brother has a construction company, he needs this type of tools.
My family lives around this business, they don't ask me nothing despite I have a good income not great but better than most in their 20's .
Now they cost me150 euro.
I can sold
Armatures for around 70
Stators for around 30 or 40
PCB for 30 up to 90
The remaining for 10 euros just to get rid of them .
They can be little gold mines.
Off course I'd prefer to repair them and help my family business
