Well thought I should let you know.
The new compressor was blowing 13amp after a couple.seconds so fitted to the 16amp supply and its fine.

After roughly 12 year, I've realised a dream...
So when I was younger I used to go to an Airsoft club in my city with friends and friends of them.
We spent many Sunday mornings , crawling around, shooting eachother and sometimes ourselves too .
I've always wanted a particular ASG but never had money or whatever reason.
The other day my colleague who knows I use to be a "soft gunner" asked me if I wanted to buy with him a lot of 60 Airsoft replicas from a guy who got them in heredity from a friend who passed away.
He sent us pictures of all them , then I've started to taste the market to understand how it was , and so if it's worth taking the risk to buy and resell them.
I don't think it's worth at all because only 10 of them were worth enough .
(I was categoric we buy at 33% of the market value so we can resell at a lower price than market and have a profit).
Anyway while searching I've found the particular maker and model I've always wanted.
Contacted the seller and bought today .
An ICS M4A1 Full Metal, with standard length barrel,metal RIS handguard, with covers, Crane stock .
Standard magazine no batteries no charger.
But but ,it has a fully Systema components built gearbox, which alone would cost as a new M4 ASG .
Why I always wanted it?
Because it's gearbox, in fact it's a two part gearbox, with the gears and motor installed in the lower receiver.
And the air pump half which slides into the upper receiver just like the bolt carrier assembly in the real AR's.
It's not just an aesthetic feature but an useful one.
You can switch upper receivers , and air pumps on the fly just before or during the game in base of how the match is organised.
For example today's match is a CQB ,I can split my gun put a short barrel receiver .
Or maybe I just want to go as stealthy as possible?
On electric Airsoft replicas you can not just mount a silencer onto the barrel, you have to replace the pump components with silenced ones .
so I can put an upper gearbox with silenced piston and cylinder head, and possibly with a less powerful spring or a lower compression cylinder to reduce both noise and muzzle velocity to keep the game as Pacific as possible.
no-one wants to get hit by a BB flying at like 350FPS shoot at close distance (it's painful enough and might be dangerous)
so I haven't done screenshots and I can't anymore.
so I'll upload images once it arrives .
I might start playing Airsoft again.
for now it's just a whim which I'll hang onto the wall in my bedroom.
90 euros well spent (considering it would cost me at least 600 euros to build an identical one )

A few bits I've acquired over the last couple of weeks new and old .
some leads for the large Pica I was donated , milwaukee paint pen and a C.K. double hole cutter adapter ( all from saracen tools )
great for when youv'e fecked up , or need to make circles .
some nice old cornwell ( usa ) slip joint pliers 8" top quality and finally a bit more Facom
so I've now 440's from 4 - 23mm
5 & 6mm 440 spanners and some adapters for ratchet spanners , large one turns a 19 r/spanner to a slimeline 1/2" drive small one does a 10mm to 1/4" drive and another to do 10mm to 1/4 hex bits to make a handy driver . As they came as a set I'm a little surprised there's not an adapter to do 3/8's drive as well .

I rigged up a stand for my polisher out of an old pillar drill as it was vibrating the bench and distributing tools all over the floor.
The trouble was that the stand then drifted across the floor. So bought some M10 rubber feet.
Sorted. I did a quick bit of polishing to make sure it didn't start drifting across the floor if you put pressure on it. This was just a quick test to make sure I could get some heat into the bit you are polishing and it works great.
I dare say I could get some engine mounts and put it back on the bench but this frees up some bench room. I might make an adapter plate so its bolted not clamped to thd stand.
The alternative was to buy and old Cannings polisher but they are quite expensive and I didn't want another project.
