Got given some locally produced charcoal. By a nice man from the pub who made his own charcoal burner. He also has a shack in the woods and plays the harmonica. Deliverance?

This is the plan, cars on a fuel card, so all think its free despite constant hectoring that it gets taken from my wages.

One of the boys asked if he could take it to cream fields this week, had no idea he was into diary work, agreed but he will be paying the fuel once i track the bugger!

It is busy, not mental busy, from what I've heard late August is slightly quieter

We have seen some enormous motor homes including one on a 5th wheel behind a Ford Ranger that had all sorts of pods that slide out, it was pretty awesome

To be fair there's been a fair mix of 'mobile homes' and caravans of all shapes and sizes

This is ours, I should have done a project thread on it really, my wife persuaded me to let her buy it so for a quiet life I agreed, it was already "converted' just badly executed and I have spent many hours sorting some of it out



Problem is I am now starting to like it and am already planning more work on it when we get back from Scotland!!

I already have more than enough projects

Skip diving today got me two roof mounted pipe tubes and 8 or so tractor inner tubes, all of which went to a mate as I've no need for them.

OK some of the inner tubes were used but why would you skip new ones? Waste annoys me.

Shotgun certificate renewal on the doormat this morning a whole month before the old one expires!
Compared to a lot from other police services I have read, this is pretty good turnaround from Thames Valley police.

I don't now! You ever tried to weigh a big parcel on bathroom style scales you can't see the display!
