Went to the Trimpley vintage show today, 2 minutes from the house these were at the roadside:
The bar is 66" x 1"
At the show a vendor had three 12" carvers for sale,
I asked "how much are the clamps" (out of idle curiosity as I didn't intend to buy)
"which ones" he says
"these red ones" says I holding one up
"£5" replied the vendor
I took all 3
"you can never have enough clamps" says he as I handed over the cash
I agreed with him as I gave him my thanks

Nope. They have a fitting on them to enable use with the quick release adapter.

You can't stack them as said, but you can just about squeeze a few sideways in,

Technically yesterday
Just dog sitting at the moment for my parents. So we're now up to one Lab puppy, his mother, grand mother and great grandmother. Once Trwchus is back from the vet (managed to poison himself yesterday) then there'll be 5 dogs in the house

Stopped in Lidl today, took a punt and acquired one of the motorcycle covers they had in the merchandise isle. I bought the larger of the two sizes available at £7.99 , and it came with a stuff sack and cord ties to attach through grommets. The cover is large enough to completely enclose my bike with the stock windshield. Yeah, worth £7.99
