Its great to see a machine with an "undamaged" table.
I know what you mean.
Both my friend and I had a heck of a time getting the Fobco press I bought in and out of my van. Didn't think it was going to be substantially heavier than I thought. Getting the head back up the column was no easy feat either, but swinging the table out of the way and using a jack with some different length timbers, I was slowly able to raise it. Converted it to run off of single phase, and set up a plug & play box by my electrical mains with two appropriate converter's that work for using several machines I have.

I have an 8 and 10" neither are fun to lift. Nice clean chuck
Easy to lift? They had a moan about that parcel when I dropped it off at the pet shop (ups drop off point)

Sink full of ice.
Had to do an emergency defrost of the freezer.
The door did not close, enough for the magnet seal to latch but not fully.
Came down to a wet floor and a iceberg in the freezer.

Today .... a bit boring but
some new snickers work trousers and knee pads , a bit on the pricer side but I find them better made than most and a good fit for me , Iv'e had a set of the same pads for about 3+ yrs and there getting a bit flat in the middle so time for some new ones
also well at arco's some some thin leather lined gloves a fiver with the vat they'll be good for a bit of miging and a nice fit ( I've little hands , ) and finally a new set of bosch blades for rangie the old one were starting to separate £35 a pair
vehicle specific ......

Amazon been selling Bosch blades cheap recently. Got rear, and a backup for the windscreen. Worth getting the Camels alerting?

The Beast came home today
And as i thought, the only fault was the broken plug
It actually works perfectly

It has worked very little time
The armature commutator still shines and the brushes still have the factory wear pattern on the contact surface
A real bargain for 50 euros.
Have to buy the guard since it's a particular size used by Metabo only , can't find even a knock off one
Inner diameter 63mm if someone has one hanging around

I had to go out today to get some paint.
On the way back I stopped by a friends place. He has just got a new company car, so I got the old dash cam.
Then next to our old MIs was a set of small business, a good place for a skip dive.
I asked if I could dive.
I was told no, but I could have this bundle.
Junked, as it was over heating, I wounder why?
I good clean, PAT and we have a Bosch with 2 good batteries.
Dead, bother batteries flat.
Charger had blown the internal fuse.
Replaced that and it works.
This one had a charger not working.
One resistor and one dead fuse..
Replaced them and we have another drill working.

I've got a spare for a 115mm one. I'll check if it's that diameter, won't be for a week as we're about to go holidays!
Those Erbauer drills are quite good & the batteries contain good quality Samsung cells. The down side is that there is virtually no spare parts backup!
