sounds like FW ThorntonYe gods, I recall going into engine recon stockists and floor to ceiling would be gasket sets of every type and size.
Several times I'd throw them a question about a weird piston and they'd have one - more importantly, whenever I thought about boring something out they'd tell me what would fit.
I am the same with old motorcycle gasket sets, always pick them up if cheap.A couple of NOS gasket sets for my stationary engines. You can get new sets for some of the more popular engines, but the chances of them fitting seems very hit & miss

The site canteen had tripped out on overload, I got the power back on and the lady said thanks it's on me
She actually calculated the current draw on her hot plates etc before I knew what she was doing!
Her dad is an electrician! I was very impressed!
I've recommended a new circuit is installed to take the load off the rest of the site eating area ring.
