These tents are also great for Astronomy. Quick to set up to protect telescope optics from changes in the weather; especially good to have at Star Party events. This toilet/shower tent,we’ve joined France Passion, which offers free camping on smallholdings and farms, you have to be independent so will take our camping toilet, they have over 2000 locations, usually in beautiful surroundings.

I’ve got one from eBay, less than a tenner I think, which i use as a spray booth. Only for small stuff but a heat lamp makes it nice and toasty and to rattle can bits it’s fine without getting dust on the bits or paint on my stuffThis toilet/shower tent,we’ve joined France Passion, which offers free camping on smallholdings and farms, you have to be independent so will take our camping toilet, they have over 2000 locations, usually in beautiful surroundings.

It's a 3D scanner
That's the idea (or scan something and model other bits to go around it, which can then be printed). Thanks!
"3D scanner" like in: scan it, get a complete data-set of it, (modify it), reproduce it by what ever means are suitable like 3D-printer or mill or ....?
Something like that?
Thanks again.
Carsten
Asking what made a set On Here you should know betterDid I miss something?![]()
Thats a tailstock for a dividing head on a mill..... a few small and medium things and an unexpected realisation ....
Yesterday I had presented HERE thrust bearings that had just arrived.
Because of the delivery times associated with the considerable distance and experiences I had already made, I had ordered from two different suppliers at the same time, which was easy in view of the low prices.
Today the other order arrived:

I immediately noticed that, to my surprise, a different design was delivered for the identical size.
I then looked at yesterday's delivery again and found that it also consisted of bearings of different designs, so that I now have three variants for the same purpose.

A small tiltable rotary table, equally suitable for the small Myford and the milling machine.
View attachment 354493
Not exactly of outstanding quality, but also nowhere near as bad as some of the comments one finds about this manufacturer suggest: The table rotation drive is suitably sensitive, the scales are sufficiently accurate, one turn of the handwheel really does correspond to ten degree of adjustment (even after a full turn), the graduation is easily sufficient for 1/4° resolution with a backlash of about 1/8°.

There was also a device that I had not seen before, which the seller called a tailstock, but which I could imagine functioning more as a counterholder for shafts to be machined on the milling machine, opposite a dividing head .... but maybe it has exactly the same name in your language ....
View attachment 354497
This part is also not of outstanding quality, although it has a feature that I have remembered as a characteristic of very high-quality devices, this ruffled varnish - in the meantime, perhaps a way has been found to produce this quickly and cheaply and one can no longer rely on this feature as an idecator for high quality ...

What is the name of the last part shown? Thank you.
Have a nice evening all,

I know it as a tailstock, and it's used exactly as you describe.
