I acquired/ won this a few days ago. It’s a brand of tools I’ve never had or used. It’s a Skil 9021, 600w. It feels well built, a bit heavy maybe ( 1.7kg). The on off button is stiff but I’ll get used to it. Can’t say much more about it at the moment, hopefully get to use it over the weekend

My favourite colour for ironwork ral 7021 or 7024,can’t remember,but it’s the same as farrow & ball railings,graphite or anthracite?
Plus some zinc rich primer,2.5 litres ,heavier than the 5 litres next to it!

A slot car version. This type is not rare, but it is not as common as the Texco one.

In the past, some one has removed the lights, cables and fixings. Back in the day it was thought it would make the car go faster.
It didn't.

This small Oil lamp was heading to the scrap yard.

It does need to be fixed, the rick goes down, but not up.

Been meaning to replace the heads on my Thor nylon mallet for years, finally new ones today.

I have one which has no thread, and after a few hits it would fall off. Found a replacement at the NEC restoration show today. I mean, I could just use the other Thor hammer in the cupboard, but then I'd still have one that needs repairing.

I get it from a jotun supplier,always satin,it’s a bit too quick drying sometimes,especially when it’s warmer,so ask them for a slower one,I also specify for brushing,however I occasionally spray with it ,just using standard thinners,it’s a lovely tough finish,the next day it resists the thumb nail scrape.

Must be a day for getting cars, we travelled 380 miles to view/buy a car for my youngest. Getting him one has been a struggle, had to be the right colour and the right spec. Kids are to fussy.
