I think if Milwaukee had a tool truck it would be worse than the strap on van.

I really like their gear. It’s not all perfect and I only buy what I need or think is worth it, but it is very well thought out. The grease gun is a good tool. As is the soldering iron. Which vacuum do you have? I like the blow idea

I know what you mean about the van. It is bad enough, when McGregor Industrial, have the power tool artic, at their open days at Inverness, or the Black isle show.
It is the M18 VC2. It won't blow out an air filter, but a scrape with a screwdriver and a blow down on most , things work ok , unless it is an oily mess.
You just put hose in either end ,whether you want to suck or blow.
Handy for keeping cab of van , clean too.

On the black friday deals I purchased my first Milwaukee gear.

Always used to be snap on for 10 years.
Then converted to dewalt 18v,
And now gone over to Milwaukee for the m12 range.

Reason of which is I like the range of tools. I wont buy at full price but got the stubby 3/8 fuel gun package with 2 batteries and charger. And the 3/8 ratchet with 1 battery and charger.

£150 + £108.
It's been used today for the first time and probably will use the ratchet more than the impact gun.

Will still keep dewalt 18v for the time being.

Once you’ve a decent amount of batteries you can just buy naked tools so it’s not too bad, price wise.

I toyed with the ratchet or the 90 degree impact which I got. It’s a kind of hybrid between impact and ratchet.

Hasn’t got as much clearance as a ratchet but will undo 300nm. That is more important for me. It’s good where you can’t turn a spanner. If I was in car engine bays all day I would have gone for the ratchet over this. I work on plant, marine and HGVs so it’s not usually a bad access really, just done up tight.

I wanted one because I’ve got issues with my muscles etc where a day spannering constantly makes for a painful few days after. This is a great help.

Today I aquired a bit of space, got the trolley jack out and cut up a dead 7.5 ton truck.

Wombled liberated a few bits off the chassis.

Yep agreed, my boss uses all m18/m12 gear and works well. Has both the 90impact and the ratchet.
And do agree the impact is great but most the stuff I'm doing now is motorcycles and dont feel the need for angle impact on that where the ratchet for fairings is far more controllable.

I will be keeping eyes out for naked bodies only but these worked out a sensible deal.
And now can clear out the rest of my "other" tools.

Yes, I set fire to the wrapping on Tuesday and its only just gone out
