That one is better than the china special I got from Ebay. Funnily enough, the mag base was the best bit about it. The arm was horrible. Never again, I decided.

Anyway yesterday I got this Korloy carbide boring bar - someone on here linked it (amazon) although I can't find the thread now... anyway, yeah it's left hand but it's carbide, and cheap!


I also got a goodie box from Fronius, for playing along with the Vintage Voyager thing. Not a bad haul, I especially like the Tshirt, it's the sort of thing I wear

Yours appears to be narrower than the ones I've seen shown on some camping / bushcraft video's ?

It's the smallest of the range and holds just shy of half a litre of water so it might just be an optical illusion? (As opposed to a Russian aeroplane )

Either way, the Grumman canoe is due out of stasis this year and I reckon a Kelly Kettle will be an awesome addition to an aluminium canoe .

Grumman canoe , have had mine 35+ years. Currently residing high & dry.

They had a single make race series for them over here, great to watch at it was very close fast racing! I was at a track day where one of the Fiat competitors had come to do some testing. He really embarrassed some guys in their expensive Porches, etc, he was easily going past them in a little cheap Fiat!

Yep ,but sometimes it's required , not speed but power Fiat engines have some Nm
If I take it I'll use it under 2000rpms so the turbo wouldn't even work

Run out of screwfixes finest brush cutter cord which was a black star shaped profile so got some of this from the local tractor shop which is a square profile, done a couple of hours with it yesterday and I have to say its really good stuff, lasts ages and seems to cut/slash better!
