It's ok, hood has explained to me it's a frequency converter rather than a inverter like I need.

After ordering the er40 collet set from zoro I thought I should acquire a collet chuck to suit - I was going to get one from arc which was about the cheapest I could find at £40 odd - until I came across one on Amazon for £16 . Then on clicking the other buying options there were 2 left with prime delivery for £8 a piece.

I think everyone needs to acknowledge that swearing is a tool just like any other. Without swearing there are loads of jobs that just wouldn't get done.
