Picked this up yesterday, now have tidy power for the garage project, it says its silent, not convinced. Checked output voltage and frequency and thats all good and did a partial load test.

Korean stuff seems to be pretty good at the moment....it's like the Japanese stuff of the 1990s (or German stuff of the 1980s) I reckon...good engineering without the crazy prices.

I bought another watch!

I put a Bund style leather strap on it as the Zulu it was one was very soft and floppy!!

It has a high dome Sapphire crystal and a Miyota automatic movement that handwinds too.

Had to help a mate collect some bits today.

At first his bits looked junk.

So I had a look in the skip found this lot.



Brass weights and a screwdriver.



Hob pan holders, will fit my fire pit.



The box this came in fell apart, shame. Looks brand new.
Yes I do need one. Yes I have a few but I need this one.

This lot may have upset my friend, a bit. He brought the same, give or take.
Mine was in another skip, I asked if I could.
I was told, sure help your self.

So, this is what I got.



A Brass paint sprayer. Yes I got another one.

Yes another bigger than average, but not my biggest one paraffin blow torch.

Plus a small weed burner. Will be great to kill vibe weed and stuff in Greenbacks garden.






The pump washer seam to work, I will be testing them soon.

Look out for smoke.

Many years ago, I hired one of those to clear an area of garden ground. This was in the mid-70s so there were no safety talks, instructions, manuals or other encumbrances like that - you paid your money, bought your paraffin and off you went....

Bearing in mind I knew less about operating the thing than a cow would understand about a christening, it was like a scene from Apocalypse Now

I gave up in the end and took it back to the shop, so traumatised I never even asked for a refund!
