I hate flexy neck torches
I don't get on with flex loc type things either but I do potentially see the the advantage of been able change the neck angles and lock it firmly in place. So I think that's gonna tick a few boxes for me.

Never heard of them will have to check it out.

Looks nice but not sure how I would get on with the round handle, don't like them but suppose it is something you would get used to.

Will have one on the motor and another in the water just to see how things are going. Likely after a few days I will never look at them but for the first while it will give me an idea of how the cooler is performing.

The round hole is for the pressure gauge and the rectangle at the end is for the On/Off switch. Have decided not to bother with the warning buzzer seeing as how the Procon pumps are so reliable

That's a very neat thing. Saves cutting and changing torch parts. To fit rectus fittings on a cooler.

Did you buy the pig skin covers for your torches or were they with them?
Have seen Weldas ones but not sure if they are as supple as the Wel-Tec pig skin ones.

I have 2 of the weldas ones from rapid. I prefer them to the weldtec and ck sheaths personallly.
The sheath you see on my speedway is a £30 weldas one. They are my favourite because they are a nice snug fit where the speedways are a touch baggy IMO. They cable tie up round the bottom of your torch handle so I'm not sure they will be a good fit on the bigger euro style handles.

Thanks, should be fine then I think as the first 700mm to 1m of the Parweld is a nice soft leather anyway (see pic) so it will just be replacing the plastic section.

Well got my fittings for the Procon today (3/8 NPT), also the others for piping it up. The Temp gauges also arrived now I just need to get some time to make it but hopefully I will get time tonight to at least test things out on the floor.

Been waiting for all my sensors for over a month wont order from china to spain again. What pipe are you using? The pipe i have is 10mm inside diameter and not very flexible.

It is the same here from China, stands to reason I suppose as the cost of the item is small and the cost of post is even smaller so it must come the cheapest way possible which probably means by sea.

I am going to use some 8mm OD flexible air pipe I have, very nice Italian made stuff, Castello.

Not really sure that's worth doing. How are you gonna join the sheath to the leather and make a good job of it. Cut the lot off and fit the whole sheath. See if you can get it round the ball joint on the torch.

Probably just join it the same way as Parweld have done. Seems to be a small section of plastic tube, maybe 40mm long and they have heatshrink over the two different covers. Seems very effective and even on the Parweld torch I had for over 8 years it never gave a problem.

Didn't remember to bring home the tig torch so couldn't try the Procon through it
I did however fill a jug with water and put a short pipe in the jug to the Procon inlet and then 4m of 8mm (6mm ID) pipe from the outlet back to the jug, switched on and in about 1 or 2 seconds I had a powerful jet of water into the jug.
Night and day compared to the Chinese pump. Next test will be getting everything hooked up as it will be when in a cooler and see how it performs, might have to adjust the pressure, think it is just a case of unscrewing the relief valve which seems to be in the end of the acorn nut.

Crack the acorn nut off and use the screw. Anti-clockwise to reduce pressure. I always reccomend you do it while the pump is running so you can see when it's right and don't take it too far and risk damage.

Are you meaning just to loosen the acorn nut slightly? Mine seems to turn no problem with the nut tight. Only moved it a few degrees then back again as I will need to get things hooked up as they will be before I see if it needs adjusting or not.

Remove the acorn nut adjustment screw is underneath.

I could not see any flow/pressure change with the 10mm pipe, but when i got the torch connected there was way to much pressure so i backed it right off.

Maybe our pumps are different as the adjustment screw on mine seems to be accessible in the centre of the nut, see pic.
