He's getting a wp24Carl, according to the Miller site bumpf on Weldcraft torches, the WP18 is good for 350 DC, 250 AC both at 100% duty, the WP20 for 250 DC, 180 AC at 100% - I doubt I'll be pushing the WP18 I've got that hard! Any idea which variety you're getting?

I think you can Carl. But just don’t go too thick because the handle on a wp24 has such a small ID you might struggle to get a bigger hose in there comfortably. I got my weld tech cable hose on my wp24 once but it was a squeeze getting in through the handle. I assume it’s just standard thread on yours and you simply swap out the power cable.It makes sense what you say about the cable. Would it be possible to replace it with a different one?
