I've used gas rods with tig they spit a bit with the zinc but nothing like mig welding galv.
C9 aka CuSi3 often sold by a brand name like SIF silcopper 968, 1.2mm which is the thinnest that exists in cut TIG lengths AFAIK. 1.6mm is usable on sub 1mm thick sheet steel but too thick really.Very interesting topic.
I would like to try the tig brazing for automotive bodywork repairs. Which rod and diameter will you suggest?
I will buy it from UK, I am from Spain and to get it form the USA is also very expensive...
