plenty of people are fooled by it. Scottish power rang me up to fit one and the lad was giving me the patter. he couldn't answer and I told him im an electrician so I should know
he said have a nice day and the phone went dead the only saving is by the supplier doing meter readers out of a job

all that advertising and cost of meters and fitters would have been better spent on lowering peoples bills . if its not broke don't fix it
