Im sure we've all bought tools that looked great and would be perfect for the job if they actually did what they were supposed to. Unfortunately, more often than not, they turn out to be absolutely useless.
This is the thread for those tools.
Il start with;
Ring Automotive LED handlamp - Bought this because i was fed up buying lightbulbs for the normal handlamp. Never fails to tie itself in knots despite neatly winding the electrical cord in previously. The cord also resembles granite in cold weather meaning any attempt to leave it on the ground facing up at the car means itl always return to lighting up the floor. Absolutley useless, unfortunately not matter how many times i kick it across the garage it still bloody works (Plus points for that i suppose).
Argos Challenge Ratchet Spanners - Bought as a Christmas present they have yet to be used. They are THE bulkiest spanner i have ever seen and impossible to use except in the most spacious surroundings. Not great when working on cars.....
Spring Compressors - These actually prompted this thread. They scare the living **** out of me! They have taken a bite of my uncles finger, missed my face by mm's and various other close calls. (Ive since ordered a proper set of compressors)
Ebay Circlip Pliers - Cheap and broke in 5mins. Never has the old adage "buy cheap, buy twice" been so apt.
B&Q Long nose pliers - As above. About as much structural rigidity as a rubber band.
