That is me now finished with the Cat unless something else crops up. There is still some wiring etc to do but that is being undertaken by the skippers sons who are pretty good at that seeing as how they have already done their own boats and made excellent jobs of them.

This morning I made an extension handle which will be used to operate the diverter valve that operates or disengages the hydraulic motor that powers the deck wash pump.

I then set about making the rope keeper.
    Here are the parts.

    ScreenHunter_3299 Nov. 21 18.09.jpg

And it built up ready for fitting and also a spare blade.

    ScreenHunter_3300 Nov. 21 18.09.jpg

I then headed up to fit it.

And the housing I made the last day for the main hydrailic spool valve extension.

The launch should be some time next week so hopefully a some pics or a video will be sent.

You could meet the lorry on the way to the ferry :D Probably better waiting until the new year though as Christmas prices are top end, one of those in the picture is likely to be £50 or more at this time of year.

Video of the two brothers heading home.
These are the last two new boats I fitted out prior to the Sophie (Green Cat)

Not really, both probably top out about the same speed even though the engine sizes are different.
The Wraith is a bit smaller at about 9m and the Interceptor being 10m, Wraith has 2x 130Hp Yamahas, the Interceptor 2 x 150's. Although they are both Cheetah Cats the Wraith is a totally new design and seems to ride the waves a bit better.

I might have still been a Fisherman if the boats had been of this class back then :D
