Ive just had a look at pub website. What a ****** hole. It used to be a proper boozer that did nice food. Its now a horrid modern place that looks like the soul of the boozer has been ripped out
If want posh pretentiousness ill go to a restaurant

I was brought up on pigs trotters and tripe from the outside market..used to have the pigs feet twice a week lashed with vinegar. These days you cant seem to find them, i have lambs hearts at least once a week roasted in the oven stuffed with garlic.

We've a fantastic butcher near me. You can get everything, and I do mean everything.
English butchers, but queues out of the door with just about every nationality you can think of. Typically 12 people working behind the counter, and it's just a standard shop width.

There is one near me the same..all his beef is grass fed from a farm near me and the place is rammed every day

We used to have to kill our own sheep and pigs so generally ate everything never had tripe though. We used the stomachs (puddings as we called them) stuffed with various things they were then boiled, sliced and fried up. I enjoy liver, heart and kidneys etc better than the meat.

Don't really miss sticking pigs or cutting sheeps throats tho.

Never had offal curried however.

Nice, ours sometimes has 4 or five , they also sell sausages and bacon in singles, not silly size packs, they get a lot of trade from oldies and single people
