My son is already doing that... He wants to get a roll on roll of skip......what none of them understand is if I pop my clogs before my wife she inherits 250k plus. If she goes before me I get nowt. Also she gets half of my original pension before I commutedI just collect stuff so that whomever has to get shut of my stuff when I pop my clogs will be cursing me something rotten.
I do the same but now I can't find what I know I have when I need it so a purge on storage and organisation this winter is needed,.,I tend to buy stuff which I may need at some point, rather than waiting until the time I need it. Granted, some stuff may never end up being used, but I know it's there if I need it.
To be totally honest, I think it's a throwback from "before". My workshop, & having machinery & tools to either restore or use in the restoration process, was what kept me from mulling other things over. It was my comfort then, & I think I still do it now because of that.
Sorry wrong word, whats there correct one for my condition?

that guy is selling a lot of stuff for next to nothing and he dont know the prices .we have seen him at 3 sales up to now and must be clearing some old blokes stuff out . i got a 1and a half hp motor of him for 30 quidI think I saw you buying them, in a card board box? I was surprised as that dealer we felt was expensive on a lot of stuff but he cant know the price of everything, he sold a Drill for top money last time.
Just glad you got a bargain as when we do it keeps people coming back
its dealers in business setting up early doors and buying stuff of private sellers cheap then putting on there stalls for double price thats the problem they do not like it at all when private punters can beat them to it and get a bargain .car boot sales are the sameI have to say, it’s folk like you that stop me from bothering with autojumbles any more. Up at the crack of sparrow fart to grab all the good stuff before it’s hit the table to either sell on or stick in a drawer and never see the light of day again

i used to take about 500 quid and often spend it.nowadays there isnt the gear about and lucky if i spend 100 quid or even 5 quidI understand the sentiment, but they've always been like that. Even 30 or 40 year ago, the best stuff went early doors. The only real difference now is that there's more disposable income around, so people can buy more than they did back then.
