...A few nice things that are missing the riving knife
If you buy a brand name, spares are available (e.g. Miles Tool and Machinery, L & S). On a lot of them, the riving knife holds the guard and for it to do this, it has to project above the top of the blade. So when you want to cut a rabbit or dildo you have to remove it anyway. Buying a spare one and cutting it down level with the top of the blade and foregoing the guard is about the best option if you are using it yourself.
