The rounded end is the mechanical crimp, the 'm' shaped end is the electrical crimp. If you don't have, I'm sure you could improvise with a pair of long nose pliers and a quick dab of a little solder.

Just to say I got the plug and socket today and it was the correct one
Seeing as I had both halves I decided to make up a pigtail so I now have the phone holder/inductive charger connected to the bike and have a spare socket so I can still fit the 12v accessory outlet if Honda ever get it in
